Under the supervision of the Patient Financial Services Manager, this position will be responsible for billing and collection of third party claims and self-pay liability on accounts up to and including final disposition of the account balance in compliance with the departmental policies and procedures. This position will be responsible for reviewing alternative financial assistance options and determining the status for referral of accounts to external legal collections. This position may require a court appearance to testify for the protection of the hospital’s financial interest. In addition, this position will ensure quality customer satisfaction.
Job Qualifications: Education: High School diploma required. Healthcare or Business Associates Degree preferred.

Experience: Must be fluent in Spanish. Healthcare billing, collections, or access experience or banking collections experience. Associates degree in Healthcare or Business can be substituted for the two years of experience
