The Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles (BMV) instructed the state’s Deputy Registrars to begin issuing temporary driver licenses to qualified Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) grantees, but only after first confirming applicants’ immigration documents via the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services (USCIS) database. On March 25th, the President welcomed 28 new citizens, hailing from 26 countries, as our newest Americans during a naturalization ceremony held at the White House. At the ceremony, the President reiterated his commitment to commonsense immigration reform and noted the progress being made in Congress to overhaul our nation’s immigration system. 1043
