Jose R. Monegro is a retired Army’s First Sergeant with over 24 years of military service. During his service, he participated in numerous combat tours to include Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan. His lastassignment was as the Senior Military Instructor at Wright State University Army ROTC Department. After his retirement, he joined numerous organizations as a volunteer to include the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 8312, The Dayton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and The League of United Latin American Citizens(LULAC), where he serves as Deputy State Director of Communications and Technology. He is currently the Senior Army Instructor\Teacher for a Junior Reserved Officer Training Corps(JROTC) at David H. Ponitz Career Technology Center. He is also the Web Designer\ IT guy for LULAC Dayton Council #39000 and Web Manager for The Dayton Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
