“Ready or not, Here Comes Kindergarten?”
As a parent, it can be intimidating to think
about putting your child on the bus for the
first time and wondering how they will handle school – especially if your own experience
was tough. But school can also be a fun and exciting place to grow!
To help you and your child prepare, Family & Youth Initiatives (FYI) is now registering students for its Little Scholars preschool program.
This 18-week course uses Channing Bete’s Promoting Alternative Thinking Strategies (PATHS) curriculum to teach children how
to understand and express emotions in a
positive way, while interacting with peers
in a classroom environment
